Field Service Engineer
Trepko Inc. (based in Tampa, Florida) is currently expanding its sales and service network for filling and packing machines in America and is therefore seeking to employ Field Service Engineers. The engineers will be part of our North American team, which operates as a small but dynamic unit.
The job requires considerable travel, primarily within the US, Canada, and Central America, but occasionally also in Europe.
What you will be doing:
- Install, commission, and service machines at customers’ sites. Perform modifications or retrofits as needed
- Troubleshoot and diagnose via telephone or at the client’s site
- Provide training for customers on the effective operation and maintenance of their machines
- Provide support for trade show and showroom activity as required
- Tracking daily activities and progress through daily reporting
- Travel 50% of your work-time. Trips typically last 3 to 10 days.
- Other related duties as assigned
About you:
- Self-motivated and driven with the ability to work independently.Positive attitude and high energy level
- Minimum Associate’s Degree from a two-year college or technical school
- Strong communication skills
- Understand the importance of gaining the customer’s trust and maintaining it
- Have a valid passport, driver’s license, and US work permit
Additional qualifications could include:
- Spanish language proficiency
- Previous experience/education from the food and/or machine industry
- Experience with industrial control systems and electrical work (24VDC and 480VAC)
