The 9000 and 9100 series are fully automatic form-fill-seal (FFS) thermoforming machines that produce, fill, and seal plastic packaging in one continuous process. By thermoforming the cup directly from a roll of food-grade film on the machine, the FFS approach removes the cost and storage of pre-formed containers and gives producers full control over cup geometry, portion size, and packaging format when the line is specified.
The 9000 series is purpose-built for mini and single-serve portions, making it well suited to hospitality and food-service packaging of butter, jam, honey, ketchup, mayonnaise, marmalade, and other condiments, as well as small dairy portions such as coffee creamers and dessert servings. Its compact footprint and high cycle rate make it a strong fit for producers running high-volume condiment and portion-pack output.
The 9100 series extends the same FFS principle to larger and more varied formats, including standard single-serve yogurt cups, dairy desserts, and multipack configurations. The cutting pattern can be adjusted on the fly to switch between individual cups and multipacks of different counts, giving producers genuine in-line flexibility without mechanical changeover. The 9100 also supports in-mold labeling (IML), in which the printed label is placed in the mold and bonded to the cup as it is thermoformed. The cup leaves the station fully decorated in a single step, with no separate labelling line, no adhesive, and a clean, integrated finish.
Servo-driven motion control, modular filling stations, and a hygienic design built for CIP and SIP cleaning allow both series to handle liquid, semi-liquid, and pasty products with consistent fill accuracy and gentle product handling. They integrate cleanly with Trepko’s upstream processing systems and downstream end-of-line solutions, which makes them a natural component of complete, in-house Trepko packaging lines.
